Fat Biking

Visitors can bike in an area of nearly 6 km in the municipality of Wentworth-Nord. Access to the Corridor aérobique between the Pavillon Montfort and the parking lot located in Laurel (8.5 – 14.5 km) is free.

Regulations

  • Fat biking is strictly forbidden between Morin-Heights and Montfort (0 – 8.5 km).
  • All motorized traffic is prohibited (except for the shared lane segments).
  • Clear the trail when you stop.
  • Ride one behind the other when in a group.
  • Always ride on the trails to respect the natural environment.
  • Pass only on the left and signal your intention.
  • While not mandatory, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
  • The recommended speed is 22 km/h (10 km/h when approaching populated areas).
  • Do not ride on rainy days or during the following 24 hours to prevent erosion that could damage the trails.
  • Do not ride on closed trails.
  • Yield to uphill cyclists and pedestrians at all times.
  • Do not create new paths or perform any unauthorized work.
  • Respect private property.
  • Do not litter.
  • Dogs are not permitted.
  • Fires and camping are prohibited in the park.
  • Get involved in your community by participating in organized maintenance work.
