Winter Walking and Snowshoeing

Visitors can walk from Pavillon Montfort (8.5 km) in Wentworth-Nord where the route borders Lac Saint-François-Xavier for 3 km and continues through the forest to the Laurel sector (14.5 km).

Winter walking is one of the most popular activities for lovers of the great outdoors. Take a peaceful trek in nature and become captivated by the wonderful flora and fauna! Let yourself be absorbed by the unique landscapes of the western Laurentians and keep an ear out for the many animals that roam the surrounding area.

Less mountainous and with cultivated fields and fallow land, the area between Huberdeau and Montcalm is very suitable for bird-watching. According to the Club d’ornithologie des Hautes-Laurentides, the Corridor aérobique Park is home to species of birds that come from further south in addition to the many typical Laurentian species.
